Our Story
We met as one does in this modern age of dating—on a dating app (shoutout to Coffee Meets Bagel).
Our first date was on a rainy February evening in downtown Seattle. It may sound a little cliché, but there was an instant, effortless connection. We talked and laughed for hours, and when we said goodbye that night, we joked about an Indian–Korean wedding somewhere in the future. Little did we know that future would become reality. We wed on a beautiful, sunny day in downtown Seattle exactly a year and a half after our first date.
One of the things that connected us most was our shared love of travel, curiosity about the world, and desire to live life as fully as we can. As we traveled together, Kimchi wanted a thoughtful way to organize photos and mementos from our travels, and to write a little more along the way. Chai suggested taking that idea online. So here we are—sharing our travels, our stories, and the little moments in between. We hope this little corner of the internet brings you some joy, some inspiration, and a little sunshine along the way.
